Paola Pichardo is originallly from Dominican Republic, but has lived in Florida since the age of nine. She joined Sweet Adelines at the age of 16, with a lot of encouragement from Angie Love. Amy lives in Coral Springs, FL, with her husband, George (who she met on a coast-to-coast bicycle trip), and her two sons, Zachary (19, a Sophomore at UF), and Joe (16). Amy grew up an "Army brat," and discovered Sweet Adelines while living in Topeka, Kansas (Sunflower Harmony). George's career took Amy to other choruses in southern California (Canyon Country) and Phoenix, AZ (Phoenix Showcase and Scottsdale) before settling in Florida in 1994. Sue is from Cooper City, Florida and is a 3rd Generation Sweet Adeline, joining at age 14. Sue works in the MIS/IT Department of a promotional products printing company and is on their Catalog Team, using her typesetting, proofing and organizational skills.
