June achieved the pinnacle of success on October 5, 1996 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, when she led her 167 voice chorus, The North Metro Chorus, to an unprecedented First Place finish for Canada in the prestigious Sweet Adelines International competition.

June Dale has been in Barbershop for over thirty years within the Sweet Adelines organization. In addition to her outstanding directing skills, June is an accomplished musical arranger, chorus and quartet coach and has placed in the top 10 five times with her quartet in international competition.
