The 1996 Ontario District Chorus Champions

(This is not yet the official site, but, by contest, it should be finished andf posted)
We are a fifty-man Barbershop Chorus, which has been thrilling audiences for years.

As a chapter in the Barbershop Harmony Society, we are part of a world wide organization with over 30,000 members.  Our purpose is three-fold

  • Preserve the art form known as Barbershop (A Capella singing)
  • Support fundraising for solutions to speech difficulties in children
  • Fellowship and fun in musical entertainment .

We have won the coveted title of Ontario District Chorus Champions a total of 4 times. Our goal is to have fun as we entertain, and introduce thousands of people, both young and old, to the wonderful and unique sound that is Barbershop Harmony.

The Roadshow can make your upcoming event special and memorable. We produce a show which can have a focus or a broad range of entertainment in Barbershop style.  Our show packages fit venues from large meeting rooms to outdoor band shells to full theatrical stages.  We have performed at the Burlington Central Park Bandshell, on the grass at Whitehearn (Hamilton); as well as ArtPark in New York, The National Arts Centre in Ottawa, Hamilton Place, the historic Sanderson Centre in Brantford, and others.

The Roadshow is also proud to have, within it's ranks, several highly entertaining and talented quartets.  Tribute, Classic Four, and Spectacle who love to entertain you with the "old standards" as well as songs from many other eras of popular music.

Classic Four is competing in the Ontario District Competition held in Toronto April 16 - 18, 1999.  Tickets for this event are still available, so contact one of the quartets to get your seats today!

Our quartets perform as part of our show package, and also do shows on their own.  They are quite busy during special occasions like Mother's Day, Valentines day, and have been known to turn up and a variety of family or office functions.

To contact any of them, follow the quartet links or click on the pics!

The Roadshow donates much of it's time and performance fees to "Harmonize for Speech"; a charitable organization which provides aid for children with speech and hearing challenges. Our motto, and theme song, is "We Sing, That They Shall Speak".

Why not feature the award-winning music of the Roadshow Chorus, or one of our fine quartets, at your next special occasion or celebration.
