After an hour and a half drive up from Calgary, it was time to limber up for a night of singing
Ahhhh! That is just what I needed!
No, no, Don - don't go there.
The girls did some relaxing while the guys got into some vocal warm ups
Bruce started some vocal work, and concentrated on resonance and listening skills
I can tell you that Bruce is liking the sound from this larger chorus
After warm-ups, Don gave some coaching on making a pure and matched sound
Not one voice stood out
Now, add some S.P. and body movement
Just enough to reinforce the sound
Put it all together and it's sounding wonderful!
Mix some parts from each chapter and listen to the results.
Add a bit of S.P. coaching, and look at the entertainment value go up!
Now, a pleasing sound from Harmony Kard.

OK, it's Red Deer's turn, but Trish didn't want to pass up the opportunity to direct the combined chorus
She's pretty pleased with the sound!

To be part of a chorus this size is always a thrill - both as a director or standing anywhere on the risers

Don pointed out that the Harmony we have here is more than just the songs - the camaraderie too
What a spread and thanks, Trish - my sweet tooth was very happy here!
The food and more chatting followed for some time
