Mike Menefee - Tenor

Mike directs the Kitsap Chordsmen Barbershop Chorus, as well as a Unitarian Universalist choir in Bremerton, Washington.  He is an award-winning Barbershop arranger, and much of the Vocal Magic repertoire has been arranged by Mike.  You can also hear Mike singing and playing the trumpet in the band “Savoy Nights with his sweetheart Carol.

Mike has a Masters Degree in Education from Gonzaga University, and teaches in the Central Kitsap School District in Silverdale, Washington.

Don Rose - Lead

Don has his masters degree in Music from Pacific Lutheran University, and now teaches right next door at Washington High School in a little town called Parkland (right next to Tacoma) where he is in charge of their nationally recognized jazz band, concert bands, and marching band, choirs, and musical theater group. Last year Don started "Steel and Stix," one of twenty steel drum bands in the United States. Don is honored to have been named outstanding music teacher for the year for 2004 at the Music Educators National Conference in Yakima, as well as a "Who's Who in Education" 13 times over his 19 year teaching career. Each of Mr. Rose's groups have standing invitations to band and choral contests through out the United States, with invitations including Carnegie Hall, Vancouver Symphony, and THE Macy's parade in New York.

Don is also active in coaching and arranging for men and women in barbershop, as well as director of the Young Men in Harmony Camp in Montana during the summer. Don has two wonderful kids named Jack and Sarah, and a really nice girl friend named Amy. Don lives at Salmon Beach in Tacoma, where you can find him every night on the end of the dock hoping the bite will pick up, and he promises to finish up that arrangement...one more cast!

Jeremiah Pope - Baritone

Jeremiah previously sang bass with the Masters of Harmony  and won a gold medal with them at the International Convention in Anaheim in 1999.  Jeremiah does some coaching and arranging, and is currently a Music Judge Candidate in the Contest & Judging program of the Barbershop Harmony Society.

He has bachelors degrees in Music and Electrical & Computer Engineering, and works as an Electrical Engineer.  Jeremiah lives in Kirkland, Washington.

Ted Chamberlain - Bass

Ted is the director of the Rainier Valley Harmonizers barbershop chorus in Puyallup. He is in high demand around the Northwest as a coach for men’s and women’s quartets and choruses. Ted has been quartetting since high school and has sung on the international quartet stage as a baritone, a tenor and as a bass.

Ted has degrees in K-12 Music Education and in Vocal Performance and has earned National Board for Professional Teaching Standards certification. He teaches middle school vocal music at Meridian Middle School in Kent, Washington.

Ted, his wife, Susan and their two children Amanda and Evan reside in Puyallup, Washington.
