A serenade for any occasion

Although the primary focus of this serenades page is Singing Valentines, any other occasion for a serenade that you may think of is reason to contact us. Whether it is a birthday, anniversary, retirement, or just to say I Love You for no other reason, a serenade says it in that very special way.

Our standard rate for an "off-season" serenade is $100.

This rate is negotiable, you can certainly pay us more, or you may convince us to pay less. Bear in mind that much of our annual income goes to support the North Okanagan Neurological Association.

Any request for a serenade will need to be organized and confirmed. Many of our members are working guys and it may at times be difficult to get four voices together. But, we will do our utmost.

Singing Valentines

The February 2006 Singing Valentines was an overwhelming success. We had 2 quartets roaming around town from 8 to 8, had 38 bookings, and in the end donated $1500 to the North Okanagan Neurological Association. Thanks to the community for supporting us, thanks to the singers for having so much fun, and thanks to NONA for being there for our kids!!

Watch out on Valentine's Day, when the group dispatches several quartets to ambush the significant others of hopeless romantics.  There’s no better Valentine’s gift than a love song or two, sung in a cappella harmony.

The Vernon Timbretones Chorus will send a barbershop quartet, in formal attire, to your Valentine’s office, home, class, restaurant, or any place in the Greater Vernon area (Vernon, Coldstream, Lavington, Spallumcheen) between the hours of 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Valentine’s Day.

The quartet will arrive unannounced to sing two love songs (lyrics), present a lovely rose, a chocolate heart and a personalised card. And if that is not enough, "additional impact" items, such as extra roses or a fabulous chocolate heart-shaped box, filled with more chocolates, can be added to the package.
