- ABC Chorus is Division III Chorus Champion
-
At
the Division III Contest, the ABC Chorus, with 112 men on the risers,
was judged to have a 71% score. This score was the highest in
the Division giving the chorus an automatic invitation to the
Evergreen District Convention to be held in Calgary September 30 -
October 1, 2005. Choruses and singers from
across Alberta can be proud of their contribution to
this winning chorus!

22/04 - ABC Chorus Membership exceeds 150 members
-
Singers
from across Alberta have been volunteering to participate in the ABC
Chorus in 2005 and the number of committed members has now exceeded
150 members. Membership in the chorus is coming from all of the
chapters in the province and from additional members who are not part
of a formal chapter. The members of the chorus come from Cold
Lake, Spruce Grove, Edmonton, Red Deer, Sylvan Lake, Olds, Carstairs,
Calgary, High River, Lethbridge, and Medicine Hat.

13/03 - Committee meets to initiate the plans for the 2005 ABC
Chorus

Members
of chapters from across Alberta meet in Calgary to initiate the plans
for the Alberta Barbershop Centennial Chorus. The ABC Chorus
will be made up of members from the Spruce Grove, Red Deer, Lethbridge,
Medicine Hat, and the two Calgary Chapters who are in Division III in
the Evergreen District which is part of the Society for the
Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in
America (SPEBSQSA).
