The Columbia
River
Chordsmen is a
men's chorus dedicated to delivering performances our audiences really
enjoy. We sing family-oriented, upbeat songs, with great attention
to musical excellence. The chorus is comprised of men from around
the Tri-Cities, Washington area (Kennewick, Richland, Pasco, and
beyond). To meet our members, click here.
We
sing
all our songs a cappella, which means without instrumental
accompaniment. This makes our music particular portable! Most of the
music is in that original American art-form called "barbershop".
Barbershop music is four-part harmony, and can be sung by as few as
four people...as long as there is one from each part! In fact,
barbershop quartets are well-regarded, and our chorus has several quartets who are often seen about the
Tri-Cities, singing and strolling at events and on stage. If you would to contact us regarding special
performances of the full chorus, quartets, or ensembles, then click here.
We're glad you've found our website! We encourage you to explore our pages and then come enjoy a performance or visit one of our rehearsals! Guests are always welcome. No matter if you sing high or low, as long as you enjoy making music, you will have a great time as part of the Columbia River Chordsmen. |
